At the College of The Bahamas, you'll have the opportunity to join a vibrant College community of more than 5,000 students in a learning environment that boasts a faculty to student ratio of 1:25. Our students come predominantly from throughout the islands of The Bahamas including some from our regional neighbours of the Caribbean. Through our student exchange and study abroad programmes the international experiences that COB students have been exposed to have been tremendous and we have likewise been able to host students from a variety of places.
We are The Bahamas' leading tertiary institution and offer a range of some sixty majors in baccalaureate and associate degree programmes. In the Fall 2010 Semester we introduced our very first graduate degree programme, a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Our Small Island Sustainability baccalaureate degree programme was also a landmark achievement [Fall 2009] for The College and our region with four new degree offerings in areas critical to the development of small island nations: Ecotourism and Development; Policy Studies; Environmental and Ecosystem Management; and Integrated Development Planning.
The College of The Bahamas is a great choice. Our graduates [more than 11,000] have gone on to careers and celebrated achievements in The Bahamas and abroad, and are making a difference throughout public and private sectors, across industries, professions and disciplines with important community and national development impact.
