President Janyne Hodder Retires
College of the Bahamas President Janyne Hodder will leave office June 30, 2010. She has performed in this office with great focus and commitment to a College mission "to support and drive national development through teaching, research & innovation and service to the community."

Dr. Rhonda Chipman-Johnson, Executive Vice President, for Academic Affairs, Retires
The College of The Bahamas announces the retirement of Dr. Rhonda Chipman-Johnson, Executive Vice President, for Academic Affairs, with effect on June 15, 2010. Dr. Chipman-Johnson who retires after a near 31-year career at The College, has been offered and has accepted an overseas position from the Government of The Bahamas.

Dr. Earla Carey-Baines Appointed President
The College of The Bahamas is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Earla Carey-Baines, President of The College of The Bahamas, with effect from July 1, 2010, continuing until a new president of The College of The Bahamas is installed in Nassau. Dr. Carey-Baines will succeed Janyne Hodder who will retire on June 30, 2010.
