This new facility will further enhance The College of The Bahamas' ability provide a state-of-the-art educational facility and further drive development of East Grand Bahama," said College of The Bahamas Associate Vice President of the Northern Bahamas Campus, Dr. Kelly Duncanson.
The location for the new Northern Bahamas Campus was chosen with the long-term view in mind of a "college town" that will grow as The College expands its campus with prime opportunities for business investment and entrepreneurship.
In addition, under the combined leadership of Dean of Pure and Applied Sciences, Dr. Brenda Cleare and Dr. Kelly Duncanson, strategic planning is underway for the introduction of a baccalaureate programme in maritime studies at the NBC location.
