College Staff Seize Opportunities to Upgrade

In an enlightened move to encourage its staff to try to upgrade their literacy and numeracy skills, The College of The Bahamas is offering classes in basic English and mathematics for personnel in the Physical Plant and Security departments.
Organized by Ms Charliese Bevans-Johnson of the Office of Outreach, classes take place Monday to Thursday and upwards of thirty people have enrolled.
The math class is taught by Ms Linda Mortimer and the English class by Ms Laura Wilson.
