Mobilizing the People

The community advocacy group 'We The People' was on campus recently recruiting potential members from among the College community. COBUS facilitated the membership drive held on Independence Park. Associate Professor, School of Business, Dr. Olivia Saunders; Assistant Professor, School of Social Sciences, Dr. Nicolette Bethel and COBUS Mr. President Antonio Butler were among the first 30 members of the organization aimed at inspiring change for a better Bahamas and researching and formulating solutions to major national issues. Executive Director of the organization, Mr. Philip Simon, and Chairman, Mr. Ed Fields, were also on campus to expand the group's membership.
